honoring service. restoring strength.

Outdoor-based support and early intervention for veterans and first responders.

Service changes a person.

The weight doesn’t always come later. Sometimes it comes after a single call, a critical incident, or a moment that stays with you.

Too often, those who serve are expected to carry it alone.
We exist to step in earlier, creating space to reset, reconnect, and regain strength when it matters most.

our Why

Restoring strength through meaningful outdoor experiences.

At Shield and Valor Foundation, we bring veterans and first responders together through hunting, fishing, outdoor recreation, retreats, and peer connection. Every experience is designed to foster community, resilience, and lasting relationships in the outdoors.

Fishing Experiences

Whether it's a few hours on the water or a full-day tournament, fishing provides an opportunity to slow down, reconnect, and build meaningful relationships.

Hunting Opportunities

Ethical hunting experiences create lasting memories while encouraging mentorship, teamwork, and time spent outdoors.

Outdoor Adventures & Retreats

From hiking and camping to retreats and outdoor excursions, we create opportunities to step away from daily stress and reconnect with nature and one another.

Community & Peer Connection

The outdoors bring people together. Every event is an opportunity to build friendships, strengthen support networks, and remind participants they are not alone.

More Than an Event

We believe the outdoors are more than a destination. They are a place where conversations happen naturally, friendships are formed, and resilience grows. Our goal is to create experiences that honor service, restore strength, and build a lasting community for those who have served others.

Why the Outdoors

We believe some of life's most meaningful conversations happen without a conference table or an office. Whether it's waiting in a deer stand before sunrise, casting a line across a quiet lake, or sharing stories around a campfire, the outdoors create space for genuine connection. Those moments strengthen relationships, build resilience, and remind people they don't have to carry life's burdens alone.
